Must I have a meal plan? - Yes, if you live in on-campus housing. The residence halls do not have adequate personal cooking facilities for each resident.

What are the resident meal plan choices? – There are three meal plans from which to choose. You will be pre-billed for the Plan A (Unlimited Plan). Plan B (10 Meals/week) and Plan C (5 meals/week) are your other options which are only available for those who has kitchenettes. You can choose either of these plans when you return your housing license agreement or at the Office of Residence Life, Ext. 8268 during the first three weeks of each semester.

Is there a commuter meal plan? – Yes, Meal plan is a block of 10 meals for $75.00. Commuter students can also separately fund their ID Card. These funds are called Monarch Money and can be used for food purchases in Dining Hall that is located in Student Community Activitiy Center .

Do I get a meal card? – Your meal card is your Saint Leo ID. This is for Resident, Monarch Money and Bonus Bucks accounts. You must have your ID with you to make a purchase. Remember that it is YOUR ID and is not to be used by persons other than you!

How does the resident meal plan work? – Each plan has three accounts. The first account is the Dining Meal Plan account, which has unlimited, 10 (ten) meal plan, or 5(five) meal, dedicated for use in the Dining Hall , located at Student Activity Center. The second account is your Bonus Bucks account. These points can be used in the previously listed dining locations as.

What if I run out of meal plan money? – You can open a Monarch Money account at any time if you deplete your meal plan money. Additionally you might consider opting for a larger meal plan for the next semester.

What if I have meal plan money left over at the end of a semester? – Monarch money is the only plan carries over the following semester. Bonus bucks does not carry over the following semester.

What if I lose my Saint Leo ID? – ? In case of a missing ID card please go to the Saint Leo University Trane Stop area in Saint Edwards for a replacement card. Again no one will be admitted nor will you be allowed to purchase meals without your ID card.

I am on a restricted diet. How do I assure myself that I can eat what is being served? – Just see the campus nurse or your R.A. so he / she can let us know and we will be happy to work with you to accommodate your situation. For more information please contact Rich Vogel at Ext. 8421.

Who provides the dining service at Saint Leo University ? – The dining service is proudly presented by Sodexho Campus Services.
